convenience friend: someone who only associates with you when they need something from you such as advice, a ride, or to be a wingman.

can i tell you how SICK and TIRED i am at being a convenience friend? well i will tell you anyways, i am entirely and utterly sick of it. i have so many people in my life that only seem to care to talk to me when they need advice or are going through a hard time. don't get me wrong, i am such a people person; and i love helping people out, i truly do. but it gets to a point in a friendship where it needs to go both ways. i'm sick of being the last resort and i'm sick of being used.

so if my name only pops into your mind when you need something, or think it's okay to push me back into the back of your mind when you have other people around. then rethink that, because i am done with going to all your needs and wants. i want REAL friends, and i decided that i am only going to surround myself with those people.
